Why?

Last year I tried to tackle Project 365 (by Becky Higgins)...That's to take a picture a day for a whole year. I made it through the first days of January when, not unexpectedly, my project became less than 365. Not a picture a day but a picture whenever. But I was not to give up. I started a blog in order to record the daily musing of my family. At first I wondered it the time at the computer was worth my while but what I questioned at the beginning as a good use of time turned into a journey and a compilation of words and photos that will be treasured.

But leaving the collection of memories floating out in cyberspace was not good enough. I needed to make it something tangible, something I could hold and pass on. So I did!

I want to continue the tradition in 2010. I wanted to take others on the journey and help them transform a year of ordinary happenings into a keepsake. So Project 365 Abbreviated was created. Sign ups are taken at the Scrapbook Store starting December 22nd (further details can be found here) Kits are available if you are not available to come to the store. But consider coming along...the more the merrier. Let's create some memories together!
